Role Overview

As a Data Protection Manager at voize, you will take full ownership of data protection matters within the company. This involves answering customer inquiries, maintaining GDPR compliance foundations, and shaping how sensitive data is handled in a rapidly evolving AI-focused SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond comprehensively to data protection queries from customers and their Data Protection Officers, ranging from general questionnaires to highly detailed questions.
• Maintain internal GDPR foundations such as data retention schedules, records of processing activities, and technical and organizational measures, ensuring their practical application across teams responsible for relevant tools.
• Develop and sustain a clear understanding of customer data flow through the voize product, collaborating closely with technical leadership.
• Review vendor contracts and data processing agreements (DPA/AVV), supporting negotiation processes.
• Maintain up-to-date data protection documentation in the company's trust center and serve as the principal liaison to the external Data Protection Officer.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Practical experience in data protection focusing specifically on GDPR compliance.
• Familiarity with modern SaaS environments, including AI-powered products, and capability to evaluate and manage compliance with international subcontractors.
• Insight into data flows within software products and proactive curiosity to keep this information current.
• Structured and process-oriented mindset with an ability to integrate data protection with information security, quality assurance, and regulatory concerns.
• Proactive and creative problem-solving skills to identify compliant solutions and communicate them clearly in a dynamic setting.
• Business-level proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous.
