Position Overview

The Stores Operator will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing store-related activities along with administrative duties. The position involves collaboration with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Planning teams to accomplish weekly objectives. The operator will assist colleagues and actively contribute to the daily functions within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually configure equipment to enable component preparation for PTH level kits.
• Handle packaging of cards and units dispatched weekly to customers or subcontractors.
• Manage stock in the off-site warehouse, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and arrange shipment of stock to comply with safety and space standards while keeping off-site reports updated.
• Adhere to prioritized schedules from planning, performing kitting and preparation activities accordingly.
• Strictly follow and keep current all procedural and process documentation.
• Administer materials control, ensuring inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and conducting cycle counts.
• Apply safety practices, including anti-static measures and housekeeping protocols.
• Support achievement of quality and production goals, assist quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Complete all necessary documentation related to store operations.
• Participate in and promote lean initiatives within daily activities.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in stores operations is necessary to perform effectively in this role.
