Job Overview

This Operator role reporting to the Lead of the Conformal Coating Team is based onsite in Carrigaline, County Cork, Ireland. The main focus will be to support production activities primarily related to PCB assembly and associated tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Prepare components required for manual assembly processes.
• Operate PCB cleaning and baking machinery properly.
• Utilize torque tools to fasten specific components accurately.
• Manually assemble printed circuit boards and mechanical hardware following formal assembly procedures, process guidelines, assembly drawings, and SOPs.
• Apply adhesives and conformal coatings with precision.
• Assist in prototype assembly projects under engineering supervision.
• Set up equipment and perform related process measurements as required.
• Conduct routine operator-level machine maintenance as specified.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components using established quality criteria.
• Wear designated safety equipment appropriately during maintenance or assembly activities.
• Accurately complete all production-related documentation.
• Use the company ERP system to manage work orders and related transactions.
• Adhere to personal tool maintenance protocols, anti-static precautions, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Knowledge

• Familiarity with IPC7711/IPC7721 standards and IPC J-Standard along with their practical applications.

Work Environment

The role may require standing or sitting for extended periods, fine manual dexterity tasks, repetitive motions, manual handling, working with display screen equipment, and handling controlled chemicals.
