About the Role

Higgins Palmerston North seeks a motivated and diligent Concrete Placer to join their team. This position involves various concrete-related tasks across the region, ideal for individuals who enjoy practical work, take pride in delivering quality finishes, and want to collaborate with a supportive crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, placing, and finishing concrete with precision and high standards.
• Installing concrete kerb and channel.
• Operating small machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Assisting with general construction duties as needed.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure safe and quality project outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

• Hands-on experience in preparing and finishing concrete surfaces.
• Experience with laying concrete kerb and channel.
• Familiarity with standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment for concrete construction and maintenance.
• Possession of a full and clean Class 1 driver's license; Class 2 with WTR endorsements is beneficial.
• Physically fit, dependable, and punctual.
• Availability to work flexible hours including Monday through Sunday shifts.
• A positive mindset along with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
