Role Overview

Join our fast-moving retail environment that serves as a key part of the local community. As an Online Assistant at our store, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent shopping experience by preparing online customer orders with care and precision.

Key Duties

• Efficiently pick and select top-quality products corresponding to online orders, providing thoughtful alternatives when original items are unavailable.
• Utilize handheld devices to navigate your shopping route, monitor selections, and manage time constraints for each order.
• Handle customer inquiries, process orders behind the scenes, and assist with loading delivery vehicles.
• Deliver friendly and proactive assistance to customers, addressing their questions and needs effectively.
• Develop extensive knowledge of store products, services, and current promotions to offer informed recommendations.
• Adapt to performing various tasks across different areas of the store as operational needs dictate.

Candidate Eligibility

• Must be older than the school-leaving age applicable in your country.
• Candidates working shifts before 6am or after 11pm must be at least 18 years old.
• Right to work permission in the UK is required.

• Comfortable with early starts, often beginning shifts at 4am, and able to thrive in a bustling, physically active, energizing workplace.
• Welcoming demeanor with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Capable of working independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
• Adaptable and responsible, willing to learn multiple skills to perform diverse store functions.
• Comfortable learning and operating new digital tools and technologies to fulfill duties efficiently.
• Physically able to handle items weighing up to 15 kg and maintain store tidiness for optimal customer experience.
