Offshore Completion and Well Intervention Supervisor

Job Overview

This position involves overseeing and managing offshore completion, workover, and well intervention operations. The role covers various techniques including Slickline, E-Line, Coiled Tubing, stimulation, and wellhead maintenance, ensuring all activities are conducted safely, effectively, and aligned with the approved programs, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Primary Duties

• Lead and supervise rig-based completion and workover tasks as well as rig and rigless well intervention procedures offshore.
• Coordinate logistics involving offshore service vendors, staff, equipment, and materials essential for operations.
• Collaborate closely with teams responsible for Completion, Workover, Well Intervention, Drilling, Production, and HSE.
• Participate in or lead Permit To Work (PTW), Job Risk Assessments (JRA), toolbox talks, and pre-job safety meetings.
• Ensure adherence to company Control Management System (CMS), HSE policies, and the organization’s Golden Rules.
• Monitor and evaluate contractor performance to guarantee safe, efficient, and cost-effective work delivery.
• Prepare and maintain operational plans, offshore instructions, material requisitions, tally sheets, and daily activity reports.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment and materials are mobilized, monitored, and properly backloaded according to plans.

Qualifications and Experience Needed

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, of which at least 8 years must be offshore.
• Deep expertise in Completion, Workover, and Well Intervention procedures.
• Comprehensive understanding of Slickline, E-Line, Coiled Tubing, stimulation techniques, and wellhead maintenance.
• Familiarity with smart completions, control-line management, and handling complex completion assemblies.
• Proven experience in supervising service providers and coordinating with Drilling and Production units.
• Strong safety consciousness with demonstrated offshore operational leadership.
• Working knowledge of WellView, SAP, and MS Office is beneficial.
• Mandatory valid certifications including IWCF Level 4 (Well Intervention/Drilling), T-BOSIET, and H2S training.
