Overview

Join the Mobile Speed Camera Program as a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Operator based in Ingleburn, NSW. This role focuses on ensuring road safety by supporting Mobile Speed Camera Operators through a mix of phone support and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone assistance to Mobile Speed Camera Operators during shifts, addressing start/end handovers, technical issues, and interactions with the public.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as logging shift data and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Handle a high volume of calls daily, ranging between 50 to 100 inbound calls.

Work Schedule

Work a 24/7 rotating roster consisting of 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends. The typical rotation is 2-3 consecutive shifts on followed by 2-3 shifts off, cycling through two weeks of day shifts and two weeks of night shifts, providing ample days off.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Call centre or similar work environment experience.
  • Availability and willingness to work across a 24/7 schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone demeanor.
  • Comfortable using computers and adaptable to learning new software systems.

Additional Information

  • Part of a dedicated team including 10 NOC Operators and 3 Supervisors.
  • Five weeks of annual leave entitlement.
  • Recruitment process involves online CV submission, a brief phone screening, face-to-face interview in Ingleburn, and background checks including a National Police Check.
