Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and product groups to automate deployment pipelines, optimize cloud usage, and uphold CI/CD standards ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Configure and administer compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security settings across multi-cloud platforms.
  • Develop strategies to maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and scalable systems.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD workflows for both applications and infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning leveraging Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Manage container deployments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes, including overseeing Kubernetes clusters such as EKS, AKS, and GKE.
  • Set up monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stacks, alongside native cloud monitoring tools.
  • Establish alerting frameworks and maintain observability and performance monitoring.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management, Role-Based Access Control, secrets handling, and data encryption.
  • Support security evaluations, vulnerability tests, and compliance audits.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize cloud expenditure across multiple cloud providers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience working with at least two of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking, compute resources, storage services, and IAM.
  • Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Proficient with containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform; experience with CloudFormation or ARM Templates is advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to Ansible is preferred.
  • Experience in monitoring solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
  • Proficient scripting ability in Python and Bash or Shell scripts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing production-grade multi-cloud environments.
  • Background in platform engineering or developing internal developer platforms.
  • Knowledge and practice of DevSecOps principles.
  • Exposure to AI or machine learning infrastructure workloads, such as GPU or high-compute clusters.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certifications.
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator or Azure DevOps Engineer certifications.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams.
