Position Overview

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Newark, NJ. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining store equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities range from maintaining beverage machines like Slurpees to handling plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep tasks.

Daily Responsibilities

• Address service inquiries for minor repairs across various in-store equipment such as food and beverage machines, ice makers, and fuel dispensers
• Manage requests involving plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Oversee parts inventory and document daily maintenance activities to promote efficiency
• Assist with training fellow Level I technicians, prioritize tasks, and perform basic structural maintenance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• At least one year of experience in general maintenance and repair work
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to support peers technically
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Ability to take ownership of facility maintenance and manage stretch assignments
