- Design technological capabilities that underpin modern Service Desk and end-user support, integrating service desk, endpoint management, identity, monitoring, automation, and collaboration platforms.
- Promote self-service, knowledge management, automation, remote assistance, virtual agent implementation, and service request facilitation to enhance employee experience and optimize support demand.
- Engage with service management teams to guarantee solutions meet SLAs, operational procedures, and service outcomes.
- Ensure integration of workplace services with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive) and incorporate identity and security services like Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.
- Embed endpoint security, device compliance, data protection, and Zero Trust principles within the architecture while collaborating with cybersecurity teams for compliance and governance.
- Coordinate integration with ITSM, network, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, IAM, applications, and monitoring technology stacks.
- Participate in architectural and design reviews, provide governance for workplace solutions, review vendor and system integrator designs for compliance with standards.
- Identify architectural risks, technical dependencies, gaps, and integration challenges, then lead resolution efforts.
- Support technical decision-making across various Modern Workplace project streams.
- Oversee architectural aspects through design, build, testing, migration, deployment, cutover, and operational transitions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, service desk, endpoint, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and service management teams.
- Assist with solution validation, technical acceptance, and operational readiness.
- Ensure complete documentation of architecture and operational needs prior to transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
- Provide ongoing technical direction to engineering and delivery teams during implementation phases.
Candidate Profile and Required Qualifications
