Mobile Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting a prominent supermarket contract in the North Birmingham/Wolverhampton region. This role involves performing non-technical repairs, minor planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and assisting with planned and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance at various sites within the specified area.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fellow technicians with both major and minor maintenance tasks.
• Execute scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance within set deadlines, ensuring all associated documentation is correctly completed.
• Quickly respond to service call requests from the Helpdesk, evaluate job requirements, and perform necessary repairs.
• Prioritize and finalize minor maintenance and repair duties within agreed timeframes.
• Ensure all tools and equipment essential for maintenance and repairs are accessible and in good working condition at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferably holds a City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in a trade such as Carpentry, Plumbing, or Roofing.
• Demonstrated previous experience in commercial or retail environment building maintenance.
