ML Engineer I

Role Overview

This position requires over six years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of three years specializing in AI and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Azure AI ecosystems, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure Document Intelligence.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and AI Agent architectures.
• Develop document intelligence and enterprise chat applications leveraging AI techniques.
• Utilize Python extensively, particularly with frameworks like FastAPI, for developing RESTful APIs.
• Work with agent frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LangGraph to build intelligent agents.
• Engage in Azure-centric development activities, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Storage solutions, AKS, and Container Apps.
• Apply AI evaluation methods and oversee observability, security, and adherence to responsible AI standards.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Exposure to AutoGen, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, ChromaDB, FAISS, or Weaviate is advantageous.
• Domain knowledge in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or the Chemical industry is desirable.
• Familiarity with OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platforms, and experience in automating workflows.
• Relevant Azure certifications such as AI Engineer, Azure Developer, or Solutions Architect are preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Azure AI Search and Azure AI Foundry.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI design and FastAPI development.
