Job Responsibilities

• Create and uphold validation protocols related to diverse environmental controls.
• Conduct testing on component samples to detect contamination, analyze root causes, and initiate corrective measures.
• Ensure precise documentation of all laboratory activities and tests performed.
• Test every incoming ingredient systematically and maintain detailed records.
• Monitor and identify microorganisms by studying their physiological and morphological features.
• Draft and prepare documentation for all testing and validation protocols.
• Carry out regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment following the preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage sample storage procedures and properly dispose of specimens as per guidelines.
• Report any non-conformance incidents to the designated line management promptly.
• Ensure timely calibration of all laboratory equipment as scheduled.
• Address unsafe acts or situations immediately upon observation.
• Collect samples from the site as required for analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Microbiology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience conducting microbiological laboratory testing and analysis.
• Familiarity with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards as well as occupational health and environmental regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
