About the Role
We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join Vertu Accident Repair Centre in Truro. This role involves performing a broad range of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. You will work with modern equipment, industry-leading repair technologies, and follow approved manufacturer processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and replacement tasks involving mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
- Safely and efficiently remove and refit vehicle parts.
- Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical faults accurately.
- Comply with manufacturer, industry, and insurance guidelines for repairs.
- Complete all repairs within agreed timescales maintaining safety standards.
- Communicate with colleagues to ensure timely ordering and availability of parts.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship ensuring precise attention to detail.
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through quality repairs.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a MET Technician, preferably within bodyshop or accident repair settings.
- Strong diagnostic abilities in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Meticulous with a dedication to delivering premium quality repairs.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Possession of a valid full UK driving licence.
- IMI accreditation or an equivalent professional qualification is advantageous.

- A base salary of 35,000 with potential earnings up to 30,000 OTE based on experience.
