Job description
Role Overview
The MES Developer will be charged with designing, developing, and supporting MES/CIM (EAP) software applications that streamline manufacturing workflows and boost production efficiency. This role also requires handling equipment integration via SECS/GEM or comparable communication protocols and ensuring comprehensive connectivity with enterprise systems like ERP and QMS.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and upkeep MES/CIM (EAP) programs aimed at automating manufacturing operations and enhancing efficiency.
- Implement and maintain integration protocols such as SECS/GEM for equipment communication.
- Ensure smooth system interoperability with ERP, QMS, and other related subsystems.
- Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, including software defect troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Develop detailed documentation including specifications, standard operating procedures, user manuals, and oversee knowledge sharing activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Have at least 2 to 3 years of practical experience working with MES and/or SECS/GEM protocols.
- Demonstrate strong skills in C++ programming, SQL, and database management technologies.
- A background or understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes or analogous automated production environments is considered a significant advantage.
