Job description

Role Overview

The Scheduler plays a crucial role by assisting the Planning team in managing the daily production schedule across Assembly & Test operations. This position collaborates closely with Planners and Production Control teams to ensure production lots proceed according to plan, supporting MES transactions, prioritizing critical lots, monitoring HOT LOT statuses, and overseeing lot combination at Tape and Reel. This role demands a detail-focused individual who adapts to shifting priorities and is comfortable interacting directly with production data and factory floor coordination within a fast-paced OSAT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the production scheduling for Assembly and Test lines, sequencing lots to align with priority commitments.
  • Support Planners by executing MES system transactions accurately to maintain current lot statuses, routing, and work-in-progress data.
  • Generate expedite lot lists per Planner instructions and communicate priority alterations effectively to manufacturing teams.
  • Monitor HOT LOT progress throughout the production cycle, tracking status and addressing any delays promptly to keep workflow on track.
  • Assist with Production Control and Planning duties as required to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organize and coordinate lot combinations at Tape and Reel stages to conform with customer and order specifications.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or relevant disciplines.
  • Between 2 to 5 years of practical experience in production scheduling, planning, or production control, ideally in an OSAT or semiconductor back-end context.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor assembly and test workflows, including dynamic process parts (DPP), Reconstitution/Recon, and final line operations.
  • Proficient in handling MES and ERP platforms for lot monitoring and transactional accuracy.
  • Advanced capabilities with Excel for detailed data tracking and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities such as hot lots and expedited items under time constraints.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with Planners, Production Control, and shop floor teams.
  • Adaptability to operate within a 24/7 manufacturing setting characterized by frequently changing priorities.
