MEP BIM Modeler

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled MEP BIM Modeler to join our Abu Dhabi team at Gulf Contracting & Landscaping. The role focuses on creating and maintaining Revit MEP models and shop drawings aligned with project BIM standards to ensure fully coordinated, clash-free, construction-ready information.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update Revit MEP models and shop drawings for assigned MEP disciplines applying approved designs and BIM protocols.
• Coordinate routes, levels, accessibility, and maintenance clearances with architectural, structural, civil, and landscaping models.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks, manage technical queries, and integrate engineer-approved resolutions, consultant feedback, and validated site modifications.
• Generate plans, sections, details, schedules, and as-built documentation; ensure accuracy by reviewing model parameters, drawing updates, and quality control before submissions.

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Between 2 to 5 years of Revit MEP modeling background in at least one discipline such as mechanical/HVAC, electrical, plumbing/drainage, or fire protection.
• Strong expertise in your main discipline and ability to coordinate with other MEP systems and trades effectively.
• Proven experience in preparing coordinated construction and as-built drawings and effectively communicating with engineering and site teams.

Technical Skills

• Mandatory: Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, discipline-specific modeling, producing MEP shop and as-built drawings, Navisworks clash review, and conducting model quality assessments.
• Desirable: Experience with additional MEP disciplines, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dynamo scripting, and workflows involving point-cloud or fabrication parts.
