Role Overview
We are recruiting a Mega/Strategic Project Sales Manager based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The primary duty is to develop, manage, and expand Eaton's network within the assigned region. This role emphasizes early detection of large-scale projects and presenting Eaton’s solutions effectively. Collaboration with various internal teams is essential to ensure proper opportunity management and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify prospective large project opportunities within the region.
- Build and maintain influential relationships with engineering firms, consultants, and critical stakeholders.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand client requirements and craft preliminary solution proposals.
- Persuade project decision-makers to align with Eaton's products and value offerings.
- Communicate project details and specifications to technical and support teams internally.
- Evaluate project bids strategically, recommending whether to proceed based on scope and alignment.
- Maintain updated and precise project data within Salesforce.
- Organize regular meetings with clients and lead business review processes.
- Manage the sales opportunity pipeline, including preparing quotations and following up rigorously.
- Contribute to process standardization and optimization for project engagements.
- Analyze project losses and suggest measures for continuous improvement.
- Participate actively in industry conferences and networking events to elevate Eaton's market position.
- Champion initiatives aimed at improving project engagement effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational background includes Professional Technician certification, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of extensive experience managing large projects, preferably in electrical or related sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing and managing techno-commercial proposals for Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, busway systems, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and electrical distribution equipment.
- Well-established relationships with EPC contractors and prominent market entities in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong connections with senior executives in major end-user organizations, notably Public Investment Fund (PIF) entities including DGDA, QIC, RSG, MOS, MOI, MOD, JCDC, JEC, RUA, RCU, among others.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite.
- Experience working with CRM and PRM platforms.
- Familiarity with software tools such as BidManager, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), and Copilot.
- Deep understanding of Low Voltage switchgear and busway systems functionalities.
- Excellent abilities in communication, negotiation, and presales activities.
- Competence in customer relationship management and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong market intelligence gathering and analysis skills.

Minimum education
