Job Overview

The Mechanical Technician role is centered on ensuring the prompt delivery of equipment aligned with operational needs. This position focuses on enhancing maintenance efficiency by reducing nonproductive time related to the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), while also boosting productivity among maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on designated equipment following the relevant maintenance schedules and in accordance with reliability centered maintenance principles, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System and standardized procedures.
• Maintain transactional accuracy in Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems by diligently recording details related to materials and supplies usage, labor costs, movement of equipment, work orders, and maintenance durations.
• Strictly comply with established TLM Product Line standards to ensure quality and consistency in maintenance activities.
• Engage actively in continuous improvement programs within the Maintenance Base aimed at enhancing asset usage and minimizing the cost of service delivery.
• Contribute to initiatives targeting reduction of asset downtime by optimizing maintenance turnaround, reducing repair authorization delays, and minimizing work-in-progress.
• Support efforts to increase Maintenance Technicians' effectiveness and overall productivity through various improvement projects.
• Execute Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD) projects including planned repair and part reuse strategies to improve service efficiency.
• Assist in investigations related to equipment failures when assigned, contributing to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Follow all guidelines within the TLM Competency Management System to uphold professional standards.
