Job description
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Planner to join our client’s team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia on a contract basis for a duration exceeding 12 months. This role offers a monthly salary of 7650 SAR.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
The successful candidate will be responsible for material planning and production scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally oil and gas sectors. A strong grasp of material requirements planning (MRP) and master production scheduling (MPS) concepts is essential. Proactive ownership, excellent communication, and effective teamwork under pressure are important attributes for this role. Candidates must maintain attention to detail and demonstrate a professional attitude.
Professional Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain operations in manufacturing settings.
- Possess an associate degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, or comparable work experience.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
- Experience working with SAP-based planning systems in manufacturing or industrial oil and gas sectors is preferred.
- Possessing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
