Role Overview

As a Marketing (Sales) Development Representative, you will engage primarily with marketing-qualified leads, shifting focus from cold outreach to meaningful dialogues with senior prospects. Our unique approach allows representatives to schedule an average of 80+ product demonstrations monthly, with around a 45% conversion rate to sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify and progress a large volume of marketing-generated leads into potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team by offering prompt feedback and recommendations to refine campaign strategies.
  • Generate qualified sales meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
  • Ensure accurate lead transfer and comprehensive discovery to support assigned Account Executives.
  • Utilize Verkada’s SalesForce and sales enablement tools adhering to company standards.
  • Report on insights and metrics related to lead management.
  • Act as an authoritative product expert during client interactions.
  • Consistently strive to exceed quota, revenue targets, and growth objectives within your territory.

Candidate Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with native-level proficiency in English.
  • High enthusiasm and passion for the role; motivated by challenges.
  • Adaptability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment; ability to self-initiate tasks.
  • Aspirations to advance as a top-performing sales representative.
  • Preferably, experience in B2B sales targeting enterprise clients.
