Role Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining fabrication methods, operating sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Collaborating closely with other engineering teams, you will coordinate product improvements and new product releases. Applying engineering principles, you will work on reducing manufacturing costs, enhancing product quality, setting time standards, and recommending tooling and process requirements. Your expertise in lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement will drive operational excellence, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to achieve daily goals including move, output, cycle time, and line yield by managing lot dispatch priorities, tool setup, preventive maintenance scheduling, deployment, and tool time requests.
• Participate in daily engineering meetings to highlight production priorities supporting fab performance.
• Collaborate daily with production control and engineering teams on tool time management.
• Lead manufacturing teams in continuous deployment productivity improvements, adherence to 5S practices, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure the supply of control wafers meets daily tool requirements.
• Lead and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong conceptual understanding and technical experience for practical problem-solving onsite.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical information.

Physical Requirements

This role may involve prolonged standing, walking, working in enclosed spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, color differentiation, and enduring noise. Working in a cleanroom environment requires the use of protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
