Job description
Role Overview
The Manager for Corporate Operation Audit is responsible for directing and overseeing operational audit assignments to ensure they are completed efficiently and in accordance with Global Internal Audit Standards (2025). This role encompasses planning, execution, reporting, audit team management, and providing valuable insights to various business units. Acting as a liaison between audit processes and strategic advice, the manager ensures high-quality audits, comprehensive risk assessment, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational audits, maintaining strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and prescribed audit methodologies.
- Create comprehensive audit plans, perform risk evaluations, and design test programs related to operational functions.
- Oversee and verify audit documentation for thoroughness and accuracy.
- Deliver clear, practical recommendations aimed at improving internal controls and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct closing meetings to present findings to senior management stakeholders.
- Participate in shaping and enhancing the annual risk-based audit plan.
- Mentor and support junior auditors, cultivating a learning-focused and high-performance culture.
- Ensure resolution and follow-up of audit findings and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with other assurance and governance divisions to enhance risk coverage and operational synergy.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Mandatory professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or Lean Six Sigma; possession of an advanced degree is favored.
- Experience with operational audits in corporate areas including Procurement, HR, and Facilities.
- A total professional experience ranging from 5 to 10 years, including 2 to 3 years within Internal Auditing.
- Possession of Certified Internal Auditor credentials and being a Saudi national are considered advantages.
- Previous employment within top-tier organizations and proficiency in English are required.
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Robust project and time management skills to handle competing priorities and strict deadlines.
- A cooperative mindset and solid stakeholder engagement abilities.
