Overview of the Role
The Content Hub & Distribution team plays a key role in shaping content strategy, expanding audience reach, and enhancing digital engagement for CareersCompass by MyCareersFuture along with related workforce programs. The content developed is impactful and centers around supporting Singaporeans in their career and skill development paths, while also boosting visibility and interaction with workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
We seek a driven and digitally knowledgeable Content Writer with a minimum of two years' relevant experience. The individual must demonstrate strong writing capabilities, a passion for understanding workforce and career trends, and the skill to simplify complex topics into compelling and approachable content. The role involves editorial planning, SEO strategy, multimedia storytelling, and fostering audience engagement.
Desired Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum two years in content creation, editorial work, journalism, digital content, or similar domains.
- Excellent command of the English language (preferably British English), with strong writing and editing competency.
- Proven experience producing content for digital channels and online readership.
- Knowledge of SEO and best practices in digital content is advantageous.
- Background in workforce development, education, business, public sector, or media content is beneficial.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Optical CMS.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing tools including Google Analytics and SEO platforms.
- Experience contributing to multimedia or social media-first content projects.
- Proficiency with design tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
