Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Role Overview

We seek a dependable and safety-conscious Fitter equipped with expertise in industrial electrical maintenance within a manufacturing setting.

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Night shift hours: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday
• Full-time employment with permanent status
• Hourly wage: $55.48 plus an additional $12.48 shift allowance
• Weekly tool allowance: $30.79 along with other company benefits

Primary Duties

• Conduct minor installation and commissioning tasks as required
• Execute troubleshooting, scheduled preventive maintenance, and corrective actions on machinery and plant equipment
• Perform all tasks professionally, safely, and promptly adhering to PepsiCo's Safety and Environmental management standards
• Maintain and retrieve maintenance data through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP)
• Support efforts to identify, record, and carry out enhancements to maintenance methods and plant equipment aiming to boost machine uptime, quality, and safety
• Collaborate with and aid external contractors when necessary

Candidate Requirements

• Trade qualification or mechanical engineering certification as a minimum
• Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting equipment
• Capability to work independently and maintain safety under pressure
• Systematic approach to problem-solving
• Flexible mindset willing to undertake overtime, additional training, and shift changes
• Experience in the food manufacturing sector is favorable
• Desirable additional skills include steam system operations, confined space work, elevated work platform (EWP) operation, and TIG welding experience
