Job Purpose

The role involves carrying out assigned maintenance and engineering tasks pertaining to electrical and control systems safely, efficiently, and within defined deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure line availability and equipment readiness to meet operational goals.
• Implement and monitor improvements according to PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology (PEMM).
• Complete assigned work orders and any additional tasks delegated by supervisors.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine necessary corrective actions and parts.
• Perform scheduled maintenance adhering to engineering standards and AIB guidelines.
• Update and maintain SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) work orders timely.
• Identify root causes for recurring equipment problems and propose solutions.
• Strictly comply with all safety policies and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System requirements.
• Operate utility-related equipment efficiently and safely.
• Conduct daily parameter readings, monitor processes, and report shift activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, safety, and cost-efficiency.
• Contribute to achieving world-class maintenance status through maintenance and reliability strategies.
• Engage in Maintenance Improvement Action Plans and Reliability Engineering practices including Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis.
• Participate actively in maintenance forums to share best practices and performance insights.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Practical experience in electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and controls systems.
• Hands-on knowledge with Low Tension (LT) and MCC, feeder, and control panels.
• Awareness and adherence to electrical safety standards and basic EHS systems.
• Experience or familiarity with maintenance planning and execution, including use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred.
• Capability in reading and interpreting technical plans, diagrams, layouts, and schematics.
• Basic computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of English communication skills both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Quality and Food Safety (QFS) policies and environment, health & safety regulations.

Experience and Competencies

• At least two years of industrial maintenance or engineering experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to manage technical faults and lead small projects or modifications.
• Ability to work independently on electrical, controls, and supporting mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes and openness to new approaches.
