Maintenance Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile Maintenance Engineer to be part of a dynamic manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Joining a modern plant with state-of-the-art equipment and strong growth plans, you will conduct both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on automated production lines.

Work Environment and Responsibilities

The role involves working within a team of 24 engineers, operating in shifts with a team leader, to maintain systems primarily controlled via Siemens S7 and TIA Portal. Your duties will include troubleshooting faults mechanically and electrically across conveyors, motors, drives, and inverters.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, with a 60:40 mechanical or electrical bias and strong troubleshooting skills in both domains.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification such as City and Guilds or HNC in a maintenance-related area.
• Proficiency reading mechanical and electrical schematics is vital.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary set at 60,760 per annum.
• 14% pension contributions, comprising 8% employer and 6% employee contributions.

• Shift pattern is 3 days on, 3 days off, alternating between day and night shifts.
