Position Summary

The role involves performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs across various trades like electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting. The technician will also provide emergency and scheduled maintenance services, supporting restaurant operations by ensuring equipment and facilities remain in optimal working condition during standard business hours and occasional off-hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive upkeep programs on restaurant buildings and equipment, including cleaning, adjustments, lubrication, and tightening.
• Support field service technicians as needed and promptly report any field service issues to the maintenance director.
• Maintain organized records and reports of all maintenance activities.
• Implement and manage maintenance and repair plans for restaurant equipment to sustain field operations.
• Conduct normal and emergency equipment repairs when possible; coordinate external vendor services when necessary.
• Be available for on-call duties every other weekend and work up to 20% of night shifts as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Dependable and self-driven individual with formal education in HVACR.
• Clean driving license and ability to travel within the supported geographic area.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds and comfortable working in environments with wet floors, temperature fluctuations, and high noise levels.
• Ability to respond swiftly to emergencies to prevent dangers to self and others.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a related position, including at least two years of installation and three years of troubleshooting and repair expertise.

Work Conditions and Additional Requirements

• Regular work hours: 7 AM to 4 PM with flexibility for after-hours work.
• Must accommodate a variable schedule including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• Possess valid driver’s license and meet state vehicle insurance requirements.
