Maintenance Planner

Job Overview

Epiroc Equipment Ghana Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Planner to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency within a leading mining environment. The role involves organizing maintenance schedules for both surface and underground mining machinery, aiming to optimize uptime, boost operational productivity, reduce stoppages, and ensure safe and cost-effective maintenance for highly advanced mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks systematically.
• Create comprehensive work orders detailing labor, materials, tools, and safety protocols.
• Track equipment functionality and maintenance patterns to increase machine dependability.
• Manage maintenance shutdowns and inspections strategically to lessen operational interruptions.
• Ensure the readiness of spare parts and resources prior to scheduled maintenance activities.
• Keep accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and provide reports on essential maintenance metrics.

Candidate Profile

• In-depth technical expertise in mining equipment including drilling rigs, trucks, and loaders.
• Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Strong capabilities in planning, time management, and organizational tasks.
• Analytical skills to interpret diagnostic and operational maintenance data.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills within a maintenance setting.
• Results-focused with commitment to continuous improvement practices.
