Job description

Overview

The Quality Coordinator is tasked with managing and resolving claims related to damaged, lost, or incorrect shipments within the warehouse environment. This position requires collaboration with multiple departments, customers, and carriers to ensure timely and efficient claim handling, alongside maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, evaluate, and process claims regarding shipment issues, ensuring accurate documentation and swift resolution.
  • Serve as the central contact for all inquiries related to claims, maintaining clear and effective communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of claims including supporting evidence such as photographs, invoices, and correspondence.
  • Investigate claims thoroughly to ascertain cause and assign liability, collaborating with warehouse teams to apply corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare periodic reports summarizing claims activity, identifying trends, outcomes, and recommending improvements to management.
  • Ensure claims processes comply with company policies, relevant industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by managing claims promptly and professionally, fostering strong relationships with customers and carriers.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma in Logistics Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in Lean methodology, ASQ, ISO standards, or Dangerous Goods regulations are beneficial.
  • Experience ranging from 1 to 3 years in claims handling, warehouse or distribution operations, or supply chain coordination.
  • Proficiency with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems such as M3.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to documentation; proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Capability to prioritize urgent tasks and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of inventory and financial adjustments including credit note processing.
  • Familiarity with supply chain workflows and warehouse operational procedures.
  • Awareness of Dangerous Goods regulations.
  • Applicants must be Singaporean or Permanent Residents only.
