About the Role
Epiroc is seeking a trade-qualified Service Technician to join their Perth service team. This position offers an excellent career progression opportunity within a global company committed to innovation and sustainability in mining and construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections and customer-specific installations on Epiroc's surface and underground mining machinery.
- Conduct servicing and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and RCS systems, emphasizing quality control and assurance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults effectively.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and deliver superior customer service while promoting teamwork.
- Adhere strictly to Epiroc and client safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) and workplace health and safety (WHS) standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement of work standards and operational practices.
Experience and Qualifications
- Trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Fixed Plant, Auto Electrical, or Hydraulics, or equivalent.
- Experience managing maintenance and repair of surface and underground mobile mining equipment including hydraulics, diagnostics, and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Proven capability in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Familiarity with Epiroc's mining products is advantageous.
