Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Antrim, Northern Ireland, to perform a variety of planned and emergency maintenance duties across multiple sites. This role involves tasks related to general building repairs, groundworks, and basic plumbing to maintain safety, compliance, and efficient operation of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute general building fabric repairs including basic joinery, painting, minor floor repairs such as tiling and vinyl installation.
• Perform hard landscaping and groundwork activities like laying slabs, minor brickwork and block paving repairs, kerb maintenance, concreting, tarmac repair, and fencing.
• Carry out HVAC filter cleaning to ensure system performance.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Assess and report issues that require further action, providing recommendations after conducting surveys.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain site standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess an NVQ or City & Guilds certification in a relevant trade.
• Have a background in multiple trades relevant to maintenance.

Employment Details

• Salary: £33,069.86 per year
• Work Hours: 45 hours weekly with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate
