Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a Machine Cleaner for our quartz manufacturing facility located in Scunthorpe. This full-time position requires working hours from Monday to Friday, 14:30 to 23:00.
Main Duties
- Ensure thorough cleaning of factory machinery and designated areas to meet the high cleanliness standards upheld throughout the site.
- Follow detailed checklists to complete cleaning tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures aimed at proper handling and maintenance of equipment and materials relevant to your duties.
- Engage in continuous personal development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Perform additional duties outside normal working hours as directed by supervisors or managers.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in cleaning machinery within a factory setting is required.
- Advanced cleaning skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
- Demonstrates flexibility, dependability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work harmoniously in an environment with cultural diversity.
