Maintenance Team Associate

Position Overview

Join our maintenance team committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic shopping and working environment through a well-organized cleaning program while managing costs efficiently.

Primary Duties

• Collaborate closely with the Stocking 3 Coach and fellow team members to follow a thorough cleaning schedule.
• Adhere strictly to Food Safety protocols and cold chain management guidelines.
• Carry out prompt cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers, and display fixtures.
• Assist in inspecting maintenance and cleaning equipment to confirm they are functioning well and verify availability of necessary supplies.
• Ensure workplace safety by completing mandatory in-store certification programs and complying with all company policies and procedures.
• When needed, perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet maintenance across all non-sales areas of the store.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.05 CAD.

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
