Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all produce items are accurately priced and properly labeled, adhering to procedures for ordering, markdowns, clearances, and signage.
• Comply with food safety protocols, including sanitation, cold chain management, temperature monitoring, correct food handling, and respecting sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and downstock items as necessary, apply protective measures to products, and organize modular displays such as flex modulars and shelf caps to maintain full stock levels.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to sustain a clean and safe work environment.
• Exhibit flexibility by being available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays in alignment with business needs.

Challenges

• Manage high task volumes efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight hours, by planning and maintaining energy levels.
• Execute physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting stock or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive duties consistently and attentively, including stocking and zoning, to preserve store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.
