Food & Consumables Team Associate

Position Summary

The Food and Consumables Team Associate plays a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service by upholding Walmart's core values. This role involves maintaining and organizing the food and consumables section, assisting with restocking, and facilitating sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining organized product shelves, tables, and storage areas to ensure items are in their correct places.
• Performing stock rotation and regularly checking for any expired items.
• Verifying that merchandise is clearly signed and correctly priced.
• Adhering to strict standards and policies including cold chain management, thermometer calibration, temperature tracking, food handling, proper stock rotation, and monitoring of sell-by and expiration dates.
• Executing procedures for ordering, clearance, price adjustments (markups and markdowns), labeling, and flagging items.

Additional Information
