Position Overview

Key Duties

• Provide courteous and professional service by greeting customers, helping them select products, advocating for various offerings, guiding merchandise location, aiding purchase decisions, and addressing or escalating customer issues when necessary.
• Maintain coverage on designated sections of the sales floor and assist at the Front End as needed, coordinating with team members to guarantee floor coverage and customer satisfaction.
• Organize assigned sales areas by zoning to keep the environment clean and orderly, relocate feature merchandise properly, and handle merchandise recovery from Customer Service and other store areas.
• Conduct stocking activities, including replenishing shelves, downstocking, applying product protection, and setting up modular displays, such as flex modulars and shelf caps.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by adhering to company safety policies, completing required safety logs, and securing displays and fixtures.
• Demonstrate flexibility by accepting various shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands and maintain consistent customer service quality.

Challenges to Anticipate

• Effectively manage a high workload in a fast-moving environment, especially during overnight hours, by planning and maintaining focus and energy.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies up to 50 lbs., along with repetitive duties like stocking and zoning while ensuring attention to detail and consistency.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
