Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Design and develop low voltage electrical systems and components tailored for automation projects.
- Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using innovative engineering methods to solve complex challenges.
- Work collaboratively across functions to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations in line with operational engineering excellence frameworks.
- Develop, standardize, and contribute to industrialization processes and best practices to enhance manufacturing engineering capabilities.
- Translate product design needs into manufacturable solutions ensuring alignment with Design for Manufacturing principles in coordination with R&D teams.
- Select suitable electrical components and materials for system designs ensuring adherence to relevant industry standards.
- Troubleshoot design challenges during development and testing phases.
- Offer technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate actively in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all design activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product line management and front-end solution architects.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing low voltage electrical systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, E-Plan, and Etap software tools.
- Experience in data center projects is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with IEC standards and relevant safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in English (speaking and writing).
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver results.
- Adept at working effectively in fast-paced environments.
