Role Overview
As Product Manager for the White Space portfolio in EMEA, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle across a range of data center infrastructure products. You will identify market opportunities, develop product requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams in EMEA and North America to promote profitable growth and innovation within a core segment.
Product Portfolio
- IT racks and accessories
- Rack power distribution units (PDUs)
- Rack power solutions including DC architectures
- Aisle containment systems
- POD solutions
- Superstructure solutions
- Data center monitoring and management software
These products support Eaton's Grid-to-Chip strategy tailored to modern cloud, colocation, and AI-focused data centers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead definition and execution of product strategy and roadmaps.
- Manage products throughout their lifecycle from development through end-of-life.
- Oversee product profitability and contribute to pricing strategies.
- Collect and analyze customer insights while tracking market trends.
- Pinpoint growth prospects and key competitive advantages.
- Define specifications for new product development projects.
- Work closely with engineering to deliver innovative solutions.
- Support marketing initiatives and new product launches.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure aligned product plans.
- Provide expert product knowledge for strategic clients and critical opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience in product management, marketing, or business development.
- Industry knowledge within Data Centers is essential.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with White Space solutions such as racks, PDUs, containment systems, PODs, or modular infrastructures is highly advantageous.
- Strong business sense and financial literacy.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Ability to function effectively within a global matrix organization.
- Proficiency in English is required.
