Loss Prevention Associate

Position Summary

The Loss Prevention Associate at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Kochi is responsible for monitoring surveillance systems including CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire safety systems to identify unusual activities or emergencies. Prompt response involves alerting relevant personnel for investigation and logging incidents. The role includes assisting guests and staff during emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when needed, and maintaining confidentiality of all security and property reports, releasing information only to authorized individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security and safety alarms and systems.
• Conduct investigations into theft, fraud, complaints, and other incidents, gathering necessary evidence.
• Support management in compliance with insurance notifications for liability cases.
• Provide appropriate documentation for employees requiring medical treatment outside the hotel.
• Maintain professional communication with guests and team members, ensuring company standards and confidentiality.
• Observe and inspect equipment to identify defects or safety issues.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 50 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance, navigating various terrains and confined spaces, and standing or walking for long periods.
• Fulfill other duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Some college education.
• Minimum of two years related work experience in loss prevention or security.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
• No supervisory experience required.
