Role Overview

We are searching for a proactive and outcome-oriented Logistics Team Leader to oversee global inbound supply chain operations with a key focus on the Saudi Arabia site. This role entails global operational ownership, managing carrier performance, driving service levels, and collaborating closely with procurement and internal partners to ensure timely execution of urgent and high-priority shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily global inbound freight movements, emphasizing KSA site shipments.
• Monitor carrier performance metrics, including on-time delivery, transit duration, and acceptance rates, by developing and maintaining a carrier Business Management System.
• Conduct regular coordination with procurement and carriers to prioritize critical cargo shipments and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
• Work in partnership with Global Procurement and Freight Forwarding teams to synchronize operational capacity, review carrier service agreements, and partake in vendor evaluations.
• Lead the inbound logistics team ensuring adherence to standard protocols and efficient execution of daily operations.
• Manage outbound carrier relations to guarantee timely pickups and fulfillment of bookings.
• Identify and address choke points in the inbound supply chain by establishing standard operating procedures to improve visibility and minimize delays.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in global freight operations, supply chain logistics, or freight forwarding.
• In-depth understanding of global inbound processes, customs regulations, and freight operations; experience specific to KSA supply chain logistics is preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct carrier performance reviews with data-driven metrics.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, and proficiency in tracking and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
