Job description
Role Overview
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers and transport providers to ensure trucks are allocated promptly at competitive prices.
- Effectively balance supply and demand to optimize logistics operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and perform cold calling to acquire new clients.
- Prepare billing documents accurately and timely.
- Track and monitor vehicle movements throughout delivery routes.
- Follow up on Proof of Delivery (POD), manage escalation processes, and oversee outstanding payment recoveries.
