Role Overview

Join us as a Lifeguard within a vibrant, energetic environment alongside colleagues who share the same enthusiasm. This role invites you to motivate teamwork and encourage others to excel.

If you have a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), that’s great; however, if you are responsible, a competent swimmer, and eager to acquire valuable skills, we can assist you through continuous development programs to earn this qualification.

Lifeguarding at Places Leisure also opens doors to various career paths including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, or Customer Service. We provide ongoing training, competency assessments, and chances to gain first aid, swimming instruction qualifications, and apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise patrons and fellow lifeguards within swimming and pool areas.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards, overseeing pool user wellbeing and the facility’s operational safety.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail ensuring a secure environment for all customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with clients in a courteous, professional manner and exceeding service expectations.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the facilities whenever necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Must possess a valid National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
