Overview
CHANEL is dedicated to continually refining excellence in client experience and style expertise. The Learning Officer will play a crucial role in supporting this mission by implementing and facilitating impactful training initiatives aligned with CHANEL Middle East strategies. The ideal candidate will showcase strong organizational capabilities along with the ability to effectively engage participants during training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage training activities with clear organization and communication across all involved collaborators.
- Work closely with training teams from the Middle East and India to coordinate and roll out training sessions and resources.
- Develop and deliver training for collections, client experience, briefings, and other related topics.
- Identify and involve expert personnel within boutiques to enhance or co-host training events and morning briefs.
- Customize training content according to boutique needs and buying habits, in consultation with management.
- Create engaging and effective training materials that align with business objectives.
- Coach boutique staff across all positions to maximize performance.
- Design and implement action plans in boutiques leveraging coaching as a tool for business growth.
- Foster an environment of coaching and constructive feedback within boutique teams.
- Collaborate harmoniously with internal teams including Learning Manager, Brand Manager, HR, regional training teams, and boutique leadership.
- Oversee onboarding procedures for new employees and ensure preparatory work is completed before training sessions.
- Conduct follow-up refresher trainings and floor observations to ensure full integration of training principles.
- Regularly report progress and outcomes to the Learning Manager and Brand Manager, using qualitative and quantitative data alongside KPIs to assess training effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in a dedicated training role.
- Experience within luxury retail or footwear sectors is advantageous.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational proficiency.
- Warm, approachable, and humble demeanor.
- Highly attentive to detail with strong memory skills.
- Keen sense of fashion awareness and trend monitoring.
- Strong emotional and situational intelligence.
- Dependable and operates with integrity.
- Excellent observational and listening abilities.
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills in both English and Arabic.
