Role Overview
The Learning Partner serves as a trusted consultant to Business Units and Corporate Functions (BUCF) at FairPrice Group, supporting the organization’s goal to cultivate a culture of continuous learning. This position links business strategy with learning initiatives by conducting thorough diagnostic analysis of performance issues, identifying essential skill gaps, and implementing impactful, forward-looking learning programs for frontline staff, management, and organizational leaders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage in consultative assessments with senior business leaders and HR Business Partners to perform detailed needs analyses, uncovering skill deficiencies and root causes of performance challenges.
- Acquire a deep understanding of the BUCF’s operational models and business functions to translate these into effective, high-value learning and development (L&D) strategies.
- Create and deploy an enterprise-wide L&D roadmap aligned with FairPrice Group’s business objectives, emphasizing the cultivation of a growth mindset and embedding competencies in customer focus and operational excellence.
- Design and execute learning programs that enhance leadership qualities, strategic thinking, change management, and core skills necessary for future readiness.
- Manage relationships with external training vendors like LHub, ensuring tailored, results-driven educational offerings.
- Oversee program development, logistics, budget allocation, and standardization of program operations across the organization.
- Champion adoption of innovative learning technologies, such as AI-enhanced content, gamification, and learning management platforms to advance workforce capabilities.
- Apply data analytics methods to measure learning effectiveness, calculate return on investment, and customize learning journeys.

Qualifications and Experience
- Between 7 and 15 years of progressive work experience in learning and development, talent management, or HR business partnering, preferably within large-scale or customer-focused retail enterprises.
- Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and implementing learning programs spanning diverse employee groups.
- Proficiency in instructional design with preference for those holding ACTA or ACLP certification.
- Strong knowledge of digital learning ecosystems (such as LMS and LXP platforms), learning analytics, and AI-driven educational program design.
