About the Role

We seek an experienced Learning Design Partner who is curious, commercially minded, and teamwork-oriented to craft learning experiences that are relevant, engaging, and impactful.
Reporting to the Learning, Talent & Capability Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing McNab Group's talent by partnering with leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify capability needs and translate them into targeted development programs aligned with business goals and the McNab Capability Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize learning and development requirements based on strategy, operations, and compliance needs.
- Design and develop comprehensive learning solutions and development pathways spanning the employee journey.
- Apply instructional design methodologies such as the ADDIE model, or cultivate expertise in it, to analyze, design, develop, deliver, and assess learning interventions with measurable capability results.
- Create captivating learning materials, tools, and evaluation methods that enhance capability growth and learning transfer in the workplace.
- Engage closely with SMEs and operational leaders to ensure learning content remains practical, relevant, and effective.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), managing content, enrollments, compliance records, reporting, and user experience.
- Track, analyze, and report on learning engagement, compliance, capability progress, and program effectiveness to aid decision-making and continuous refinement.
- Leverage feedback, assessments, and operational insights to iteratively enhance learning program design.
Candidate Profile
- Holds tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering impactful learning programs, with proficiency in instructional design principles and frameworks like ADDIE to create engaging and practical learning experiences.
- Ability to analyze learning requirements and develop customized programs addressing capability gaps.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills across organizational levels.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence facilitating discussions and delivering presentations.
- Possesses a solution-oriented approach that converts insights into actionable learning strategies.
- Committed to continuous improvement, quality, and alignment of learning with organizational priorities.
- Experience in education or teaching is highly valued; this role offers an opportunity to apply teaching foundations within a corporate setting.
- Preferably holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent and understands construction industry compliance requirements.
