Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Cybersecurity Lead Technologist to guide and influence the technical engagement strategy across the APAC region. This role focuses on accelerating delivery of advanced cybersecurity solutions to safeguard customers' digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate the unique benefits and key features of Check Point’s solutions and industry trends to varied stakeholders including engineers, DevOps, cloud infrastructure teams, GRC members, and C-suite executives.
• Lead conversations on current and future security paradigms such as Zero Trust, Endpoint and Cloud Security, Blockchain, IoT, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, AI/ML in security, and relevant data privacy laws.
• Convert strategic objectives into operational plans supported by metrics across the APAC Systems Engineering and customer vision.
• Architect and design intricate network and security infrastructures, collaborating closely with Systems Engineering teams to meet customer technical needs, including conducting tailored demos and proofs of concept for strategic clients.
• Provide cybersecurity technical leadership to shape and execute the company’s technical vision.
• Drive growth through engagement with strategic accounts aiming for high-value enterprise deals.
• Promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities within Check Point’s portfolio.
• Cooperate with senior leaders, product management, R&D, and engineering to strategize improvements and enhance productivity culture benefitting customers.
• Advocate for customer, sales, and engineering teams by influencing product development and prioritizing new features.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and industry evangelist, supporting customers and internal teams to achieve cybersecurity and operational excellence.
• Assist Systems Engineers in aligning Proof-of-Value initiatives with customer success visions.
• Monitor competitors’ offerings and contribute to defining Check Point's competitive positioning.
• Represent Check Point at industry forums, events, and webinars.
• Evaluate new solutions and features, document findings, and provide training to field teams for successful deployment.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 12 years in cybersecurity or related fields, demonstrating strong engagement skills with diverse professionals including executives, architects, and development teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of cross-team collaboration and providing constructive feedback.
• Customer-facing with the ability to articulate complex strategies and tactical concepts related to security and cloud migration.
• Exceptional leadership, mentoring ability, and interpersonal skills to build trust and manage multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Highly organized, adept at prioritizing multiple projects in a dynamic setting.
• Strong capability in conducting both high-level executive discussions and detailed technical analysis of solutions.
• Proven thought leader with experience developing and delivering technical content like blogs, webinars, podcasts, and conference presentations.
• Skilled in facilitating discussions using collaboration technologies to gather insights and achieve goals.
• Hands-on technical skills, demonstrating expertise with Check Point technologies through active project implementation.
• Experience in building and managing global communities and running large-scale webinars and training programs.
• Relevant professional certifications in cybersecurity and specialized content areas.
• A proactive, self-directed approach able to navigate ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Operational discretion with strong understanding of organizational effectiveness concepts.
• Knowledgeable about traditional and digital engagement channels to connect with leaders and teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders beyond formal authority.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and execution skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and resilience managing uncertain situations.
• Recent experience with scalable systems, distributed computing, networking architectures, and tiered applications.
• Comfortable working with network load balancing for private and public infrastructures and command-line interface automation.
• Experience designing both high-level system architectures and low-level rack-and-stack implementations.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for business engagement.
