Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert, leveraging product and industry knowledge to educate customers on cybersecurity solutions aligned with their business goals.
- Collaborate closely with sales counterparts to devise and execute plans aimed at meeting targets, delivering customer success, and fostering strong working relationships.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customers, managing end-to-end technical connections and becoming the key technical contact (CTO) for accounts.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customers’ technical environments, business objectives, and challenges to align Check Point solutions accordingly.
- Drive sales by partnering on account planning, campaign creation, and advancing sales stages, taking ownership of technical closures.
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends and competitor landscapes to address competitive threats in sales engagements.
- Respond promptly and effectively to Requests for Proposals and Information (RFPs/RFIs).
- Present Check Point’s technology vision and value proposition effectively to audiences ranging from executives to technical staff.
- Lead meetings and influence decision-making through impactful presentations, demonstrations, and discussions at all organizational levels.
- Take overall ownership of assigned accounts, providing thought leadership while prioritizing customers’ interests.
- Maintain deep product knowledge to explain features, benefits, and competitive positioning; monitor and respond to competitor activity using market insights.
- Use internal resources to manage install base accuracy, identify expansion opportunities, and encourage adoption of additional products.
- Craft and implement strategic, technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
- Ensure a coordinated, one-team approach by engaging internal teams such as Solutions Architects, Specialists, Customer Success Managers, Product Management, and Engineering to support customers throughout their journey.
- Undertake special projects assigned by management related to Solutions Engineering.
- Commit to ongoing personal development of technical and professional skills through community engagement and industry events.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or pre-sales roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid foundation in networking and security principles, with understanding of typical customer architectures.
- Ability to design and clearly communicate comprehensive security solutions tailored to customer environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for diverse audiences.
- Relevant professional certifications highly desirable, including CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE.
