About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished Lead Palantir Data Software Engineer to spearhead transformative initiatives within the Insurance sector. This role demands expertise in navigating complex large-scale data challenges, utilizing advanced platforms such as Palantir Foundry, and engineering scalable analytics frameworks that enable strategic business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance querying and data operations using advanced SQL capabilities, favoring Spark SQL.

• Utilize Agile and Scrum frameworks to facilitate iterative project development and timely delivery.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 9 to 12 years of professional IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years working with large distributed computing environments.
• Practical hands-on involvement with Palantir Foundry spanning at least six months.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for constructing and refining extensive data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills with emphasis on Spark SQL to manipulate and query data effectively.
• In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts and ELT methodology.
• Experienced in Agile and Scrum techniques for managing complex projects.
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving aptitude addressing multifaceted data scenarios.
• Ability to operate independently while effectively managing workload priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills capable of articulating technical solutions.
• Adaptability and collaborative spirit suited for global multicultural teams.
• Proficiency in English at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or above.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Insurance domain or finance-related functions across various industries.
