Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement scalable data architectures leveraging Azure technologies.
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- Handle data ingestion, transformations, and optimize handling of extensive datasets.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD workflows through Azure DevOps and version control using Git.
- Design and produce Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs.
- Conduct peer code evaluations and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate closely with clients and relevant business units to align technical solutions with requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated expertise with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL.
- Proficiency in SQL, including T-SQL and Spark SQL, along with effective data modeling capabilities.
- Solid understanding of Azure Blob Storage, ADLS Gen2, Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Experience in using Azure DevOps and Git for CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Strong capabilities in Power BI, including DAX, Tabular Models, and building complex dashboards.
- Familiarity with NoSQL database technologies and various data ingestion strategies.
- Expertise in performance tuning, security practices, and automation of deployment processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning.
- Working knowledge of Azure Event Hubs.
- Understanding of Azure Stream Analytics.
